Nature-based Solutions Project Design Consultant (05/2022- 12/2022)
Nature-based Solutions Project Designing which is a part of Project ADAPT: Nature-based solutions for resilient societies in the Western Balkans. ADAP is financed by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), implemented by IUCN and supported by Brooks Hannas & Partners as an implementing partner on the project in charge for Nature-based Solutions Project Design in Gledic, Kraljevo (Serbia).
Brooks Hannas & Partners, provides technical expertise across the project cycle. Our team of experts (Forestry Biodiversity Expert, Environmental and Data collection Expert, Social Impact and Gender expert and Torrent control and erosion expert) is working on:
1. Detailed Forest Landscape Restoration (FLR) project design
2. FLR action permits and approvals
3. Develop a methodological guidance for the preparation and design of Nature-based Solutions projects.
4. Develop a management and maintenance plan for the FLR pilot – Design and perform 2 operational management and maintenance trainings for local stakeholders.
