Support to American University of Armenia (AUA) in Armenia (Jan – Apr 2022)
Brooks Hannas & Partners supported American University of Armenia (AUA) in Armenia in developing a full proposal for a waste management programme, which integrates best practice in terms of several aspects. Project is financed by SIDA.
The Swedish government is expected to within short decide on a new strategy for development cooperation with six Eastern European countries (Armenia and the other five Eastern Partnership countries Azerbadjan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and the Ukraine) for the period 2021-2027.
Environment and climate change is expected to be one of four areas of cooperation in the new strategy.
The objective of the assignment is to
support AUA to develop a full waste management programme proposal. There are two main components related to this
technical support:
A.
Source separation.
B.
Extended Producer Responsibility.
Our team of experts- Waste Management expert, EPR expert and Environmental Impact expert will support AUA in developing a full proposal for a waste management programme, which integrates best practice in terms of several aspects.
